SMADC Farmer and Farmers Market Resource Fair
The Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission, a division of the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland, is hosting a statewide Farmer and Farmers Market Resource Fair at the Maryland Farm Bureau office in Davidsonville on Monday, April 17th.
Drop in between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., for technical assistance and resources.

What: Technical Assistance with Federal, State, and Local Programs
Details: come anytime during the day to get assistance with any or all of the following programs and take advantage of these services:
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
USDA representatives will be available for SNAP Retailer Application submission and assistance.
MarketLink representatives will be available for SNAP equipment grant application submission and assistance.
MarketLink representatives will be available to discuss the online SNAP grant.
Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) & electronic Women, Infants & Children (eWIC)
MDA representatives will be available for FMNP Senior and WIC benefit application assistance.
MDH representatives will be available for eWIC benefit application assistance.
Farmers Markets
Resources and information including the Maryland Farmers Market Directory and Maryland's Best program will be available.
Maryland Market Money
Federal Nutrition Benefit matching program available to all Maryland farmers markets and direct marketing farmers application submission and assistance available.
SMADC Resources
SMADC staff will be on-site to discuss program (Southern Maryland Meats, Buy Local Challenge, FarmLink, Maryland Market Money, etc.) resources, added-value agriculture, regulatory information, cottage food guidelines, grant opportunities, and more.
MARBIDCO Resources
MARBIDCO representatives will be on-site to discuss available grant opportunities and financial assistance.
